DMD-Lab outreach expands access to advanced manufacturing, STEM learning, mentorship, and community impact.

We connect people to engineering through hands-on experiences, inclusive networks, and practical learning.

Outreach Mission

Our mission is to make additive manufacturing, digital engineering, and STEM pathways more visible, accessible, and inspiring for students and communities.

Programs and Initiatives

DMD-Lab outreach includes 3D printing education, additive manufacturing outreach, mentorship programs, workforce development, teacher engagement, and community learning.

BiAM

Blacks in Additive Manufacturing (BiAM) advances visibility, mentorship, professional connection, and opportunity in additive manufacturing.

BiAM welcomes students, professionals, educators, allies, researchers, and industry partners.

PrintLearn

PrintLearn introduces students, educators, and community learners to 3D printing, design thinking, prototyping, creativity, and engineering problem-solving.

K-12 and Community Engagement

DMD-Lab supports hands-on workshops, classroom activities, demonstrations, and community programs that help students see themselves in STEM.

Mentorship and Visibility

We create spaces where students and professionals can connect, learn, share experiences, and build confidence in advanced manufacturing and engineering.

Partner With DMD-Lab Outreach

We welcome schools, community groups, industry partners, professional societies, and sponsors interested in STEM engagement and workforce development.
