PrintLearn is a hands-on 3D printing and STEM education initiative connected to DMD-Lab at the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station.

It introduces students, educators, and community learners to additive manufacturing, design thinking, prototyping, and engineering problem-solving.

Mission

PrintLearn makes 3D printing education accessible, practical, and inspiring for the next generation of STEM learners.

What Students Learn

Students learn how ideas become physical objects through design, slicing, printing, testing, and improvement.

Learning Themes

3D printing education
Additive manufacturing
STEM learning
Design thinking
Creativity
Prototyping
Engineering problem-solving
Workforce awareness

Hands-On Activities

PrintLearn uses demonstrations, guided design activities, printer walkthroughs, prototype challenges, and real-world examples to build student confidence.

Teacher and Community Engagement

PrintLearn supports teacher training, classroom enrichment, community outreach, and partnerships that expand access to advanced manufacturing learning.

Why 3D Printing Education Matters

3D printing helps learners see engineering as creative, practical, and possible.

It builds early awareness of manufacturing, design, technology, and future workforce pathways.

Partner With PrintLearn

Work with PrintLearn to inspire students, support educators, and bring hands-on additive manufacturing learning to more communities.
